Sacramento International Airport’s Terminal B Achieves LEED® Silver Certification - Eco-friendly features in concourse and terminal earn airport silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council green building certification program. This is the largest airport terminal to achieve this certification and includes sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Traffic Signal System Improvements: Completion of $3.1 Million Stimulus Funded Project - Sacramento County has completed a $3.1 million American Recovery and Reinvestment (ARRA) funded Stimulus project to upgrade the County traffic signal operations system. These upgrades reduce pollution by improving the monitoring and management of traffic congestion in major transportation corridors throughout the Sacramento County unincorporated area.
