Water Recycling Program
For the
Water Recycling Program Regional Sanitation District (Regional San) recycles water to meet the demands of our growing region, and through recycling, reduces impacts from droughts. The recycled water is produced at the Water Reclamation Facility, located just north of the City of Elk Grove at the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant site. Recycled water is used in-lieu of potable water to meet non-potable demands, such as landscape irrigation and process water.
